Today is Armistice Day and besides it’s obvious importance it marks the 2 year point until we plan to launch the film with a premier alongside The Royal British Legion. I know this seems a long way off but in film terms it is a realistic timescale taking into account everybody’s work commitments and fundraising for the project. Our crowdfunding campaign runs out in a few days and we have successfully raised around £5000 with another £1-2000 promised to follow. While this is obviously short of the target we are extraordinarily happy with the support that we have received and know that having reached almost 50% of the target in just a few weeks we will complete this project.

Today though our thoughts should be for those who both fell and survived all wars, wear your poppy with pride.
